Electric conversion for a Rayburn 208 GL

Recent conversion for a much loved Rayburn 208GL. Feedback from the customer is:

‘We are delighted with the Rayburn conversion, and everything is working just as it should. We have just had our first pizzas this evening! Thank you again for all you did with such well-mannered professionalism. We are delighted with the work, and you can quote me!’

Economy or heat?

With increased electricity prices, customers are asking how to get the best from their Electrickit agas. This guide provides some principles or ‘rules of thumb’ for running the aga for efficiency and economy (while still using it to cook and provide heat) and running it for more radiant heat.

I have not offered any specific running costs as every aga is different and impacted by its own environment. Somewhere between the two ends of the spectrum, you should be able to find a point that works for you.

Second conversion for Rayburn Supreme

This Supreme was originally solid fuel, then converted to oil. Now just converted to Energiser electric power. Notice the large flue box has been removed, and although you can’t see it in the picture a plate is being made to cover the flue vent aperture in the top, as no flue is required after the conversion. Cabling to be tidied up too. Good to see it on its third lease of life!
