About Paul Stonehouse
Having worked with other electric conversion systems and found them to be unreliable and inefficient, I started installing ElectricKit conversions in 2012.
I love helping owners give their old agas a new lease of life. Their agas have faithfully served their family (or previous ones), and in my opinion work best in the modern world when updated, so they can give years more reliable and economical service.
I admire the simplicity and robustness of the ElectricKit system, and the options and upgrades for creating the aga you want. It provides great control and versatility, and makes owning and running a cast iron kitchen range viable in these times of volatile fuel prices. You get to keep and enhance the features you like, and reduce your running costs significantly.
My wife Kathy and I have an Electrickit converted dark blue, 2 oven, pre’74 aga deluxe with a 1.6kw induction hob as a demonstrator at my home in Hamble on the South Coast. We also have an Energiser converted Rayburn 212 (formerly solid fuel), and we love to experiment with cooking on them. And our dog Bertie is a big fan of them too - they smell great and keep him warm! Do come and see them in action.
